May 7 - 14
May 11 – 9th- 12th Devotional – This Sunday night, May 11, all the 9th-12th youth are invited to the devotional at the home of Jim & Sarah Farris, 1320 Arrowhead Dr., Brentwood. The speaker will be Paul Harris. The girls need to bring desserts and the guys bring chips & drinks. Don’t forget to bring your Bible!!
May 17 – Service Project – Our next service project for the 6th-12th graders will be the Special Olympics at Vanderbilt University, on Saturday, May 17. We will serve as volunteers with the Tennessee Special Olympics State Competition. Our group has requested to assist with the softball throw event, during the morning and into early afternoon. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Please sign up at the Youth Corner if you plan to assist.
May 18 – HiSTEP Recognition Luncheon – This HiSTEP luncheon will be on Sunday, May 18. All current members and their families are invited. Also, the families of cooperating Wednesday night teachers, elders, and ministers are invited. Past HiSTEP members are also encouraged to attend. The luncheon will begin in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the 10:30 worship service.
May 18 – 6th-8th Devotional – All the 6th-8th graders are invited to the devotional at the home of Alan & Brenda Owen, 664 Pebble Springs Dr., Franklin, TN. More details next week.
