The elders at Crieve Hall wish to provide opportunities for each member to find their place in the body. There are dozens of areas of service and hundreds of roles that need to be filled. The brochure below explains many of our programs and the form below that will provide you with a means of letting us know your preferences.
There is much work to be done and we are always looking for willing members to help us. Please print the form below and turn it in to the office.
FaithWorks is a great program that helps organize Crieve Hall members to meet the needs of others. Throughout the year, at least one weekend, a month a group of volunteers gather and receive their assignments for the day.
Some projects are very small. Others are more involved. But you will see people of all ages coming out to help.
In the past this group has taken care of small yard work, light housework, painting, building handicap ramps, landscaping the church grounds, and even a major renovation to a yard that was destroyed by a tornado.
Families participate in this program as well with the children being able to work on some smaller tasks together.
FaithWorks also has a Facebook group. You can see more about this at www.facebook.com/groups/CHFaithWorks/
The ladies of the Crieve Hall Church of Christ have a history of serving others. The WinGS (Women in God’s Service) program organizes ladies activities service to others.
The programs in WinGS include: absentee visitation, encouragement by cards, baptismal assistants, fruit totes for hospital stays, funerals and new babies, nursing home visits, nursery workers, kitchen cleaning, ladies’ nights, providing a welcoming missionary guest house, meals for new moms, and coordination for showers.
This is a wonderful way to contribute your love and skills to the work of this congregation.
